The period of grief is one of the hardest times. Emotions flow & we all cope with loss in our own way and in our own time. This moment is all about you, your loved one, family and others who are woven into your life.It it not about me, at all. So the below is not really relevant. ​

Like everyone I have my own stories of loss, grief and finding my 'feet' again.
​​​Why I am a Celebrant
After loss & heartbreak, I re-assessed my 20-year background (sensitively serving expectant and new parents) and realised that my face did not fit the corporate world.
Embracing my love of people & learning from everyone, I knew that my learnt skill set, empathetic nature & people pleasing tendencies connect perfectly to support bereaved families and conduct beautifully written, unique celebrations of life. ​

What I bring to families
I bring calm, understanding, empathy, lightness, professionalism, the desire to listen, learn and frame your celebration of life creatively with a personalised stamp, that will both aptly honour the life of the deceased & allow you to digest, laugh, grieve and take a positive memorable moment from a fitting swansong. ​

I would be honoured to be your Celebrant, collaborating with you (and if relevant, your Funeral Director) to create the perfect ceremony and ensure all runs smoothly on the day.
I endeavour to lighten the day, to let the sunshine glow on the valuable moments you & others cherished with your loved one, alongside deeper moments of reflection and acceptance to help the healing process. ​
